김해인재양성재단, 해양방산 인재 육성 방안 논의

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해인재양성재단은 지난 13일 재단 회의실에서 제2차 김해인재소통 라운드테이블을 열고 해양방산산업 전문가들과 지역 산업 경쟁력 강화를 위한 인재 양성 방안을 논의했다고 밝혔다.

김해인재소통 라운드테이블은 분야별 전문가와 시민들이 정책 논의에 참여하는 정기 소통 플랫폼으로, 지역 산업 혁신과 인재 육성을 위한 협력 체계 구축을 목표로 운영되고 있다.

이날 회의에서는 ‘듣고, 모으고, 키우는 인재와 산업의 힘’을 주제로 현장 중심 방산산업 실무인재 양성, 글로컬대학 사업 연계 지역 혁신 프로그램 추진, 지역 전략산업 연계 인재 양성, 인재 양성 공간 운영 방안 등이 논의됐다. 

참석자들은 김해 미래 산업과 연계한 지속가능한 산업 인재 육성 생태계 조성 필요성에 공감했다.

최일 잠수함연구소 소장은 “지역 해양방위산업 활성화를 위해 지자체와 대학 차원의 체계적인 전문인력 양성이 필요하다”며 관련 기관과 산업체, 대학이 참여하는 협의체 구성을 제안했다.

원종하 대표이사는 “재단이 지역사회와 산업 현장을 연결하는 플랫폼 역할을 강화하겠다”며 “전문가와 시민 의견을 반영해 지역 미래 산업과 인재 육성 기반을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The Gimhae Talent Communication Roundtable is a regular communication platform where experts from various fields and citizens participate in policy discussions. It operates with the goal of establishing a cooperative system for regional industrial innovation and talent development.

Under the theme of "The Power of Talent and Industry: Listening, Gathering, and Cultivating," the meeting discussed the training of field-oriented practical talent for the defense industry, the promotion of regional innovation programs linked to the Glocal University project, talent development linked to regional strategic industries, and plans for operating talent development spaces.

Attendees agreed on the need to create a sustainable ecosystem for cultivating industrial talent linked to Gimhae's future industries. Choi Il, Director of the Submarine Research Institute, stated, “Systematic training of specialized personnel at the local government and university levels is necessary to revitalize the regional maritime defense industry,” and proposed the formation of a consultative body involving relevant institutions, industries, and universities.

CEO Won Jong-ha said, “The foundation will strengthen its role as a platform connecting the local community with industrial sites,” adding, “We will expand the foundation for fostering regional future industries and talent by reflecting the opinions of experts and citizens.”
