청와대가 13일 "국가안보실이 오현주 제3차장 주재로 사이버 안보 현안 점검 회의를 열고 미토스 등 AI(인공지능) 기술 기반 사이버 해킹 위협 가능성 관련 관계부처 대응 현황을 점검한다"고 전했다.
청와대는 이날 오전 언론 공지에서 이같이 전한 가운데 회의엔 과학기술정보통신부·국정원·국방부·외교부·행정안전부·금융위 등 관계부처들이 참석 예정이다.
이날 회의는 미토스 같은 AI 모델 해킹 대응책 논의 차 마련됐다. 미토스는 미 기업 앤트로픽이 개발한 사이버 보안·해킹 특화 AI 모델로 보안 취약점을 찾아내고 침투하는 공격 성능이 뛰어나 일반 민간에 공개되지 않는 걸로 알려졌다.
또 각 주관 부처의 위협 대응 현황 보고와 함께 AI 모델을 활용한 사이버 공격에 대응하기 위한 방안이 논의될 예정이다.
더불어 AI 모델의 사이버 공격 대응을 위한 방어형 AI 및 양자기술 기반 보안 등 차세대 사이버 보안 방안에 대한 의견 교환도 이뤄진다.
안보실은 "대·중소기업 등 민간 부문·정부·지방자치단체·공공기관 등 공공 부문 전반에 걸쳐 취약점 패치 등 신속한 사이버 위협 대응을 지원하기 위한 실질 방안이 논의될 것"이라고 전했다.
