정용래 더불어민주당 대전 유성구청장 후보가 6·3 지방선거 승리를 위한 본격적인 전열 정비를 마쳤다.
정 후보는 10일 오후 2시 자신의 선거사무소에서 ‘더미래캠프’ 선거대책위원회 발대식을 개최하고, 정책 중심의 깨끗한 선거 운동을 펼칠 것을 천명했다.
이날 행사에는 조승래·황정아 국회의원을 비롯해 이번 지방선거에 출마하는 민주당 후보들과 선대위 관계자들이 대거 참석해 세를 과시했다.
정 후보는 환영사를 통해 “유성구와 대한민국의 미래 발전을 위해 흔쾌히 힘을 보태주신 모든 분께 진심으로 감사드린다”며 “이번 선거에서 투명하고 깨끗한 정책 대결을 펼치는 것은 물론, 고유가 시대에 발맞춰 저탄소 친환경 선거 원칙을 철저히 준수하며 구민들의 신뢰를 얻겠다”고 강조했다.
이번 선대위의 수장인 총괄선대위원장에는 염승철 전 민주당 대전시지부 부지부장이 위촉됐다. 또한 조직의 외연 확대를 위해 각계각층을 대표하는 10명의 공동선대위원장 체제를 구축했다.
공동선대위원장 명단에는 민태권 전 대전시의회 부의장, 김동섭 전 대전시 의원, 김연풍·김관형 전 유성구 의원 등 전직 지방의원들을 비롯해 이권재 외식업협회 유성지부장, 최창식 전 원신흥동 주민자치위원장, 맹태호 ㈜골드드림 대표이사, 전득희 전 상대동 주민자치회장, 박노식 예비역 장군 등이 이름을 올렸다.
특히 이번 선대위는 노인(3명), 여성(5명), 청년(9명), 장애인(3명), 소상공인(3명) 등 세대와 계층을 아우르는 분야별 공동위원장단을 대규모로 구성해 현장의 목소리를 반영하는 데 집중했다. 직능별 공동위원장 16명과 노동위원회 4명, 온라인 소통을 강화할 소통단장 5명도 임명하며 조직력을 보강했다.
지원 조직도 탄탄하게 꾸려졌다.
이상묵 가톨릭의대 교수가 후원회장을 맡았으며, 김중범 변호사가 법률단장으로 합류했다.
조직본부장은 최정춘 전 유성구체육회 사무국장이, 봉사공동위원장은 김정숙 드리미봉사단 회장이 각각 맡아 실무를 이끈다. 이 외에도 고문단 16명, 정책자문단 51명, 특보단 22명이 가세해 정책 전문성을 높였다.
