브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 연상호 감독의 신작 영화 <군체>가 제79회 칸영화제 미드나잇 스크리닝 부문에 공식 초청된 가운데, 공식 상영 일정이 공개됐다.
8일 배급사 쇼박스에 따르면, <군체>의 공식 상영 일정은 현지시각 기준 오는 15일 밤 12시 30분(16일 오전 0시 30분)으로 확정됐다.
<군체>를 연출한 연상호 감독을 비롯해 전지현, 구교환, 지창욱, 신현빈, 김신록 등 영화의 주역들은 이날 뤼미에르 대극장에서 진행되는 미드나잇 스크리닝 공식 상영 및 레드카펫 행사에 참석해 자리를 빛낼 예정이다.
특히 연상호 감독은 첫 장편 애니메이션 <돼지의 왕>(2012, 감독 주간)을 시작으로 <부산행>(2016, 미드나잇 스크리닝 부문), <반도>(2020, 오피셜 셀렉션)에 이어 <군체>를 통해 네 번째로 칸영화제에 초청되는 영광을 안았다.
