이재명 대통령이 7일 "물가 안정을 최우선 과제로 삼되 원유·핵심 원자재 공급망 관리·주요 품목 수급 안정에 모든 수단을 총동원할 때"라고 했다.
이 대통령은 이날 오후 청와대에서 열린 제32차 수석보좌관회의 모두 발언에서 "국제 유가 불안정성이 지속되면서 물가 압력이 커지고 있다"며 이같이 말했다.
그러면서 "종전협상 불확실성으로 석유류 가격이 20% 넘게 오르며 지난 4월 소비자 물가 상승 폭이 3월 대비 확대됐다"며 "다른 주요국들 대비 상대적 물가 상승 폭이 크지 않으나 마음 놓을 순 없다"고 했다.
또 "물가 상승 계속 시 민생 전반 충격이 가중되고 소비심리가 위축돼 경제 회복 흐름에 큰 부담을 주게 된다"며 "전쟁이 언제까지 지속될지 알 수 없는 상태이나 이번 위기를 어떻게 이겨내느냐에 따라 경제 미래가 달라질 것"이라고 했다.
이어 "다 하기 나름 아닌가 생각된다"며 "앞으로 국민·기업·정부 모두 한마음으로 힘 모아주길 재차 부탁한다"고 했다.
