‘장르만 트레킹’은 영덕의 아름다운 자연과 관광자원을 배경으로 청춘남녀가 다양한 체험 활동을 함께하며 서로의 취향과 관심사를 알아가는 청년 교류 프로그램이다.
특히 지난해 진행된 시즌2에서는 모집 인원의 4배가 넘는 신청자가 몰리며 높은 관심을 받았고, 프로그램을 통해 인연을 맺은 한 커플이 실제 결혼 후 영덕에 정착하면서 지역 청년 교류 활성화와 인구 유입 측면에서도 긍정적인 성과를 거뒀다.
이번 시즌3은 영덕의 계절별 매력을 담은 테마형 프로그램으로 운영된다. 봄 시즌에는 피크닉 감성 데이트 프로그램이 진행되며, 여름 시즌에는 푸른 바다를 배경으로 한 서핑과 해변 데이트 프로그램 등이 마련돼 참가자들이 다양한 체험 속에서 자연스럽게 교류할 수 있도록 구성됐다.
또한 로테이션 소개팅 방식과 함께 1대1 집중 대화, 단독 데이트 프로그램 등을 도입해 시즌2보다 참가자 간 소통과 교류 시간을 한층 강화한 점도 눈길을 끈다.
참가 자격은 경상북도 내에 거주하거나 재직 중인 1988년생부터 1999년생까지의 미혼 남녀이며, 신청은 홍보 포스터 내 QR코드를 통해 가능하다.
영덕군은 사전 인터뷰를 거쳐 회차별로 남녀 각 8명씩 총 16명을 최종 선발할 예정이며, 매칭된 커플에게는 지역 관광자원과 연계한 체험 프로그램 혜택도 제공할 계획이다.
