브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 미군이 6일(현지 시간) 이란에 대한 해상봉쇄 조치를 뚫으려고 시도한 이란 유조선을 무력화시켰다고 밝혔다.
미 중부사령부(CENTCOM)는 이날 소셜미디어(SNS) 엑스(X)에 "오만만에서 작전을 수행하던 미군은 이란 항구로 향하던 이란 선적의 공선 유조선을 무력화했다"고 전했다.
발표문에 따르면 해당 선박은 M/T 하스나호로, 미 동부시간으로 6일 오전 9시경 오만만 공해상에서 이란 항구로 진입을 시도했다고 한다.
이란 해상봉쇄 작전을 이어가고 있는 미 해군은 우회하라는 경고를 거듭 발신했으나, 하스나호가 이를 따르지 않자 결국 무력을 행사했다고 전했다.
