바로엔터테인먼트는 2일 공식 SNS(사회관계망서비스)를 통해 “소속 아티스트들을 대상으로 온라인 및 SNS 상에서 악의적인 비방, 허위사실 유포로 인한 명예훼손, 모욕, 성희롱, 인신공격 등 위법 행위가 지속적으로 발생하고 있음을 확인했다”며 말문을 열었다.
이어 “팬 여러분의 제보 및 자체 모니터링을 통해 아티스트의 명예와 권익을 침해한 악성 게시물 및 댓글 작성자들에 대한 증거를 지속적으로 확보, 법무법인 율촌과 법적 대응을 진행하고 있다”고 알렸다.
또 “당사는 관련 사안이 법과 원칙에 따라 엄중한 처벌을 받을 수 있도록 필요한 자료 제출 및 의견 개진 등 제반 절차에 적극 협조하고 있으며, 이에 대한 현재까지의 진행 경과를 안내드린다”고 전했다.
