공사는 지난 13일 대전 선샤인호텔에서 대전상공회의소 및 한국여성경제인협회 대전지회 등 기업 관계자 65명이 참석한 가운데 설명회를 개최하고, 개선된 지원제도와 참여 방법 등을 안내했다.
기업 편의성 제고 위해 '통합공모'로 전환
기존에는 제도별로 공모 시기가 분산돼 기업들이 참여에 번거로움을 겪었으나, 올해부터는 이를 하나로 묶은 '통합공모' 방식을 도입했다. 이를 통해 중소기업의 접근성을 높이고 지원 제도의 체감 효과를 극대화한다는 방침이다.
이번 공모는 총 4개 분야에서 협력 과제를 모집한다. △성과공유제 분야는 기자재 성능개선 등 공동 목표 달성을 지원하며, 성공 시 시범 사업비 지원과 수의계약 자격이 부여된다.
△공동R&D(구매연계형)분야는 공사가 구매 의사를 밝히고 개발을 제안한 과제를 대상으로 한다. △반면, 공동R&D(상생협력형) 분야는 기업이 투자 의사를 갖고 제안한 기술개발 과제를 지원한다. 공동R&D 2개 유형 모두 최대 2년간 6억 원 이내의 개발비 지원 및 수의계약 혜택 제공한다. △K-water 등록기술분야는 정부 인증 신기술(NET)이나 공사 적용 실적이 있는 특허기술을 등록해 현장 적용 기회와 판로 확대를 돕는 제도다.
디지털·AI 융합 및 탄소중립 과제 집중 발굴
한국수자원공사는 2008년 제도 도입 이후 현재까지 총 779건의 과제를 지원하며 국내 물 산업의 기술 경쟁력을 견인해 왔다.
특히 올해는 기후테크 중심의 디지털·AI 융합 기술과 신재생에너지 등 탄소중립 실현에 기여할 수 있는 사업화 유망 과제를 중점적으로 선정해 미래 성장 동력을 확보할 계획이다.
한성용 한국수자원공사 그린인프라부문장 직무대행은 “혁신적인 기후테크 생태계 조성은 글로벌 경쟁력 확보와 기후 위기 대응을 위한 핵심 과제”라며, “우수한 기술력을 갖춘 중소기업과의 협력을 확대하고 맞춤형 지원을 강화해 산업 발전에 앞장서겠다”고 밝혔다.
