브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 김여정 북한 노동당 부부장은 13일 정동영 통일부 장관이 대북 무인기 침투 사건과 관련해 유감을 표명한 데 대해 “다행”이라고 밝혔다.
김 부부장은 이날 조선중앙통신을 통해 공개한 담화에서 “새해벽두에 발생한 반공화국 무인기 침입사건에 대하여 한국 통일부 장관 정동영이 10일 공식적으로 유감을 표시한 것을 다행으로 생각한다”고 말했다. 그는 이를 “비교적 상식적인 행동”이라고 평가했다.
다만 김 부부장은 한국 정부를 향해 재발 방지 대책을 촉구했다. 그는 “한국당국은 자초한 위기를 유감 표명 같은 것으로 굼때고 넘어가려 할 것이 아니라 우리 공화국 영공 침범과 같은 엄중한 주권 침해 사건의 재발을 확실히 방지할 수 있는 담보조치를 강구해야 한다”고 주장했다.
또 “주범의 실체가 누구이든, 그것이 개인이든 민간단체이든 아무런 관심도 없다”며 “우리가 문제시하는 것은 우리 국가의 영공을 무단 침범하는 중대 주권 침해 행위가 한국발로 감행됐다는 그 자체”라고 강조했다.
이어 “신성불가침의 주권을 침해하는 도발 사건이 재발하는 경우 반드시 혹독한 대응이 취해질 것임을 예고해둔다”며 “여러 가지 대응 공격안들 중 어느 한 안이 분명히 선택될 것이며 비례성을 초월할 것”이라고 경고했다. 그는 “한국당국이 내부에서 어리석은 짓들을 행하지 못하도록 재발 방지에 주의를 돌려야 할 것”이라고도 밝혔다.
이번 담화는 정동영 통일부 장관이 정부 고위 관계자로서는 처음으로 해당 사건에 대해 유감을 표명한 지 사흘 만에 나왔다. 다만 북한 주민들이 보는 노동신문에는 게재되지 않았다.
앞서 북한은 지난달 4일과 지난해 9월 한국발 무인기가 북한 영공을 침범했다고 주장했다. 김정은 북한 국무위원장의 동생인 김 부부장은 지난달 13일에도 담화를 통해 사과와 재발 방지 대책을 요구한 바 있다.
이와 관련 정동영 장관은 지난 10일 “무모한 무인기 침투와 관련해 북측에 대해 깊은 유감을 표하는 바”라고 밝혔다.
한편 군·경 합동 태스크포스(TF)는 무인기 침투를 주도한 것으로 지목된 대학원생 오모 씨 등 민간인 3명을 수사 중이다. 무인기 침투에 관여한 의혹을 받는 현역 군인과 국가정보원 직원도 입건해 조사하고 있다.
