브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 배우 김선호 측이 1인 법인 탈세 의혹 관련해 추가 입장을 전했다.
4일 김선호의 소속사 판타지오는 “김선호는 지난 2024년 1월 연기 활동 및 연극 제작을 위해 법인을 설립했다. 이후 지난해 2월 판타지오와 새로운 계약이 시작되기 전까지의 활동에 대해서는 해당 법인으로 정산금을 지급받았다”고 밝혔다.
법인 운영을 중단한 이유에 대해 “김선호는 해당 법인의 운영 자체가 오해의 소지가 될 수 있다는 점을 인지한 후, 해당 법인은 운영을 멈추고 최근 1년 이상 법인을 통한 활동은 실질적으로 전혀 이뤄지지 않았다”고 설명했다.
이어 “판타지오와 김선호는 지난해 2월 전속계약 체결일로부터 현재까지 배우 개인에게 정산금을 직접 지급하고 있다. 판타지오와 김선호 간의 계약 과정 및 활동과 관련해서는 해당 법인과 어떤 관계도 없음을 분명히 말씀드린다”고 전했다.
김선호 측은 법인 폐업 절차 관련해 “김선호는 당시 무지했던 법인 운영을 바로잡기 위한 선제적 조치로, 과거 법인 카드 사용 내역 및 가족 급여, 법인 차량을 모두 반납했다”며 “해당 법인을 통해 과거에 정산받은 금액에 대해서는 기존 납부한 법인세에 더해 개인소득세를 추가 납부 완료했다. 법인 폐업 절차를 진행 중에 있으며 행정상의 절차가 곧 마무리될 예정이다”고 밝혔다.
그러면서 “김선호는 법인 운영에 대해 충분한 이해가 없는 상태로 해당 법인을 설립하고 1여 년간 유지한 것에 대해 깊이 반성하고 있다. 고개 숙여 죄송하다는 말씀 전해 드린다”며 “당사 역시 혼란과 우려를 드린 점 사과드리며, 이후로 소속 배우의 활동 전반에 대해 보다 면밀히 관리할 수 있도록 만전을 기하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
최근 스포츠경향은 김선호가 소속사와 별도로 1인 법인을 설립, 세금을 회피하려 한 정황이 포착됐다고 보도했다.
한편, 판타지오는 김선호에 앞서 현재 군복무 중인 가수 겸 배우 차은우가 200억 탈세 의혹으로 논란에 휩싸였다.
앞서 지난달 22일 차은우가 지난해 봄 서울지방국세청 조사4국으로부터 탈세 혐의로 고강도 조사를 받았고, 국세청으로부터 소득세 등 탈세 혐의로 200억원이 넘는 세금 추징을 통보 받았다는 사실이 알려졌다.
