브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지㈜는 지난 20일 오후 대전시 대덕구 소재 한국타이어 대전공장에서 한국타이어 이준길 대전공장장, 한국노총 한국타이어앤테크놀로지노동조합, 임직원, 협력사 관계자 등 60여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘안전보건경영 선포식’을 개최했다고 21일 밝혔다.
이번 선포식은 임직원의 안전을 최우선 가치로 삼는 한국타이어의 선진 경영 문화를 공유하고, 선제적 안전혁신으로 안전하고 건강한 사업장을 만들어 나가기 위한 결의를 다지고자 기획됐다.
한국타이어 이준길 대전공장장은 “안전은 타협할 수 없는 최우선 가치로 이번 선포식이 모든 임직원이 안전의 주체로서 책임감을 갖는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “끊임없는 제도 개선을 통한 선진화된 안전보건경영 시스템을 구축하는 동시에, 현장의 목소리에 귀 기울이며 안전 문화 확립에 만전을 기할 계획이다”고 말했다.
한국타이어는 더욱 안전하고 쾌적한 작업 환경 제공을 목표로 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이사회 산하 ESG운영위원회 내 SHE(안전∙보건∙환경)위원회 설치와 함께, CEO 직속 안전보건관리 전담 조직을 중심으로 지속 가능한 안전보건경영 프로세스 확립 및 고도화를 추진하며 자율 안전보건 체계를 지속 강화해 나가고 있다.
이러한 노력의 일환으로, 글로벌 8개 생산기지 전체에 ‘5대 골든룰’ 제도 및 ‘7대 안전행동 수칙’ 운영, ‘안전 핫라인(Hotline)’ 구축, 작업 전 TBM(Tool Box Meeting) 활동 등 임직원이 안전 혁신의 주체가 되는 자율적이고 성숙한 안전 문화 확립에 매진하고 있다.
또한, 작업 과정에서의 안전 확보를 위한 ‘LOTO(Lock Out, Tag Out)’ 시스템 확대 적용, SHE 진단 및 교육 체계 고도화, 글로벌 생산기지 간 SHE 교차 점검 도입, SHE 우수 활동 사례를 선정해 포상하는 ‘SHE Best Practice’ 제도 운영 등 현장 중심의 실질적인 SHE 활동을 추진 중이다.
이 외에도 ‘HMI(Human Machine Interface)’ 기반의 설비 안전장치 점검 프로세스를 활용한 데이터 기반의 체계적 모니터링 시스템도 구축해 안전한 일터 조성에 박차를 가하고 있다.
