(신안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남 신안군이 기후변화에 대응한 신소득 작물을 전략적으로 육성하며 지역 경제 활성화와 지방소멸 위기 극복에 속도를 낸다.
신안군은 전남도, (재)전남테크노파크와 협력해 중소벤처기업부 주관 ‘시군구연고산업육성사업’ 공모에 최종 선정, 국비 18억 원을 확보했다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 신안군의 특화 자원인 바나나, 커피, 망고 등 아열대 신소득 작물을 기반으로 농식품 기업의 경쟁력을 높이는 것이 핵심이다. 군은 2026년부터 2년간 총사업비 26억 원을 투입해 관내 식품제조 중소기업을 집중 지원할 계획이다.
지원 대상은 신안군 내 중소기업 중 해당 작물을 활용해 식품 관련 제품이나 기술의 사업화를 추진하고 있는 기업이다.
군은 ▲시제품 제작, 제품 고급화, 디자인 개발, 기능성 인증 및 시험 분석 ▲홍보 콘텐츠 제작, 온·오프라인 마케팅, 국내 전시회 및 특판전 참가등 다각적인 지원을 펼칠 계획이다.
