보성군은 지난 12일, 보성군 귀농귀촌센터에서 ‘2026년 제4기 보성군 청년협의체 정기총회’를 개최하고 공식 활동의 첫발을 내디뎠다고 밝혔다.
이번 제4기 협의체는 보성군 관내 12개 읍면에서 다양한 직업군을 가진 청년들이 고르게 참여했다는 점이 특징이다. 지역과 분야를 아우르는 폭넓은 시각과 현장 경험을 바탕으로, 청년들의 삶과 직결된 실효성 있는 정책 논의가 이루어질 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.
이날 정기총회에서는 위원 17명이 참석한 가운데 임태욱 대표와 주현옥 부대표가 선출되었으며, 협의체의 향후 운영 방향과 분과별 세부 계획이 확정됐다.

‘보성군 청년발전조례’에 근거해 운영되는 청년협의체는 그동안 청년과 군정을 잇는 가교로서 굵직한 성과를 거두어 왔다.
