전남도, 대한적십자사 회원유공장 ‘최고명예대장’ 수상

전남도는 5일 도청 김대중강당에서 열린 '대한적십자사 창립 120주년 기념 광주전남지사 연차대회'(사진)에서 이 상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

대한적십자사 회원유공장 '최고명예대장'은 인도주의 활동에 크게 기여하고 누적 기부 금액이 5억 원 이상인 단체나 개인에게 수여되는 최고 권위의 포상이다.

전남도는 2017년 충남지역 수해 복구 지원을 시작으로, 2023년 튀르키예 지진 구호 성금, 2025년 경북 및 의성 지역 산불 피해 지원 등 꾸준한 기부와 나눔 활동을 이어온 공로를 인정받아 이번 수상을 확정했다.

김영록 전남도지사는 이날 영상메시지를 통해 "인도주의의 등불, 대한적십자사 120주년을 진심으로 축하드린다"며, "늘 어려운 이웃 곁을 지키고, 재난 현장에 가장 먼저 달려가 주심에 감사드린다"고 전했다.
