【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=서원대학교(총장 손석민) 산학협력단 평생교육진흥본부는 13일 글로벌관 연회장에서 ‘RISE사업 비전 공유 워크숍’을 열고 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업의 비전 공유와 발전 방향을 모색했다.
이번 워크숍은 부서 간 협력 강화와 성과 점검, 차별화 전략 수립, 조직 내 소통 강화를 위해 마련됐다. 교육·연구·산학협력 등 다양한 분야의 교직원이 모여 추진 경험을 나누고 지역혁신을 위한 협력 방안을 논의했다.
행사는 김영미 산학협력단장과 김병완 RISE사업단장의 인사말로 시작해 팀빌딩, 네트워킹 프로그램, 부서별 비전 발표 세션 등으로 이어졌다. 각 부서는 사업 현황과 과제, 지역사회 연계 전략을 발표했으며, 이후 토론과 교류로 협업 아이디어를 나눴다.
참석자들은 충북지역 대학이 지역혁신의 거점으로서 중심 역할을 해야 한다는 데 뜻을 모으고 이를 실현할 방안을 함께 논의했다.
대학 관계자는 “이번 행사는 대학이 지역혁신의 거점으로서 어떠한 역할을 수행해야 하는지 다시금 고민하는 자리였다”며 “앞으로도 대학과 지역이 동반성장할 수 있도록 체계적인 사업 운영과 협력 모델을 발전시켜 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편 서원대학교는 RISE 사업의 일환으로 성인학습자 대상 교육 기회를 확대하고 있다. 충북지역 최초로 개설된 ‘미래대학’ 비전학부에서는 만 30세 이상 성인학습자를 대상으로 신입생을 모집하며, 9월 8일부터 2026년 1월 23일까지 진학어플라이를 통해 원서를 접수한다. 입학생은 등록금 50% 감면 혜택을 받을 수 있으며, ▲경영부동산 ▲사회복지학 ▲생활체육 ▲상담심리 ▲라이프설계 ▲문화예술경영 ▲바이오코스메틱 ▲외식경영 등 8개 전공 가운데 선택할 수 있다.

The Lifelong Education Promotion Division of the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Seowon University (President Sohn Seok-min) held a "RISE Project Vision Sharing Workshop" in the Global Hall banquet hall on the 13th to share the vision and explore future directions for the Regional Innovation-Oriented University Support System (RISE) project.
