【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=서원대학교(총장 손석민)는 ‘예술로 인생학교’ 교육 프로그램 수강생을 8월 15일까지 모집한다.
‘예술로 인생학교’는 신중년의 인생 2막 준비와 제2의 진로 설계, 자아 탐색을 지원하는 평생학습 프로그램이다. 삶의 경험과 예술적 기량을 사회공헌과 지역문화 활동으로 연결해 공동체 가치를 창출하고자 기획됐으며, 청주문화산업진흥재단의 문화예술 특화공간 ‘동부창고’와 협력해 인생학교의 새로운 모델로 운영된다.
이번 프로그램은 △인생극단 △인생목수 △인생한땀 △인생한컷 △인생문학 등 총 5개 과정으로 구성되며, 8월부터 11월까지 총 20차시 내외로 진행된다.
모집 대상은 충북도민 중 40~60대 신중년이며, 모든 과정은 무료로 운영된다. 서원대학교 산학협력단 홈페이지 공지사항에서 신청서를 내려받아 이메일로 접수하면 된다.
전 과정의 80% 이상을 이수하고 자발적으로 동호회를 구성한 수강생에게는 2026년 평생학습동아리 프로그램에 우선 선발되는 혜택이 주어진다. 이는 향후 지속적인 학습 활동으로 이어질 수 있도록 연계 지원하는 방안이다.
서원대 김정진 평생교육진흥본부장은 “문화예술 특화 프로그램을 통해 신중년의 인생 2막 준비와 제2의 진로 설계, 자아 탐색을 지원하는 평생학습 플랫폼을 구축하고 수료 후 자생적인 활동으로 이어질 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 서원대학교는 충북 대학 최초로 성인단과대학 ‘미래대학’을 설립한 데 이어 올해 RISE 사업 대표과제로 ‘충북 평생직업교육 생산기지 실현’을 공모해 선정됐다. 이에 따라 전국 대학교 중 평생교육 사업비로는 최상위 규모인 약 110억 원(5년)의 사업비를 확보하며 지역 기반 평생교육 체계를 강화하는 핵심 거점으로 자리매김하고 있다.

The program consists of five courses: "Life Theater Company," "Life Carpenter," "Life's Stitch," "Life's Cut," and "Life's Literature." It will run for approximately 20 sessions from August to November.

Meanwhile, Seowon University established the "Future University," the first adult college in Chungbuk Province, and was selected as the flagship project of the RISE project this year through a public contest for the "Realization of a Chungbuk Lifelong Vocational Education Production Base." As a result, Seowon University secured approximately 11 billion won (5 years), the largest budget for lifelong education projects among universities nationwide, establishing itself as a key hub for strengthening the regional lifelong education system.
