【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교(총장 고창섭) 이차전지 혁신융합대학 사업단이 지난 7월 14일부터 7월 15일까지 오창 제이원호텔에서 ‘2025학년도 이차전지 취·창업 경진대회’를 성황리에 개최했다.
이번 행사는 충북대를 비롯해 가천대, 부산대, 경남정보대 등 4개의 참여 대학 재학생 38명이 참석한 가운데 단기 캠프 형태로 진행됐다.
경진대회 첫날에는 ▲아이디어 발굴 및 기획 ▲팀별 주제 실습 ▲연구논문 작성 ▲취업전략 수립 ▲사업 아이템 개발 등의 프로그램을 통해 학생들의 실무 역량 강화가 이뤄졌다. 또한 팀별 커뮤니케이션과 협업 능력 향상을 위한 프로젝트 활동도 함께 진행됐다.
이어 이튿날에는 이차전지 분야에서 성공한 청년 기업가의 특강이 열려 현장의 생생한 노하우가 공유됐으며, 오후에는 팀별로 진행된 ‘취·창업 경진대회’가 이어졌다. 발표는 완성도, 독창성, 기대효과 등을 기준으로 평가됐다.
대회 결과 대상은 장선애(충북대 환경공학과 3학년) 학생을 포함한 충북대 학생 4명으로 구성된 취업 파트 팀이 수상했다. 금상은 가천대 팀, 은상은 창업 파트에서 참여한 최은석(충북대 반도체공학부 1학년) 학생이 각각 수상의 영예를 안았다.
대상을 수상한 장선애 학생은 “이번 경진대회를 통해 취업 준비에 필요한 실무적인 정보를 얻을 수 있었고, 타 대학 학생들과의 교류도 매우 유익한 경험이었다”고 수상 소감을 전했다.
한편, 이차전지 혁신융합대학 컨소시엄 사업(COSS)은 2023년 6월부터 교육부와 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 출범했으며, 이차전지 분야 국가 인재 양성을 목표로 다양한 교육 및 연구 프로그램을 운영 중이다. 해당 컨소시엄에는 충북대를 비롯한 5개 대학과 충청북도, 청주시, 부산광역시, 인천광역시 등 지방자치단체가 협력하고 있다.

Chungbuk National University (President Ko Chang-seop) Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence College Business Group successfully held the '2025 Secondary Battery Employment and Startup Competition' at Ochang Jay One Hotel from July 14 to July 15.

Meanwhile, the Secondary Battery Innovation Convergence University Consortium Project (COSS) was launched in June 2023 with support from the Ministry of Education and the National Research Foundation of Korea, and is currently operating various education and research programs with the goal of fostering national talent in the secondary battery field. The consortium includes five universities, including Chungbuk National University, and local governments including Chungcheongbuk-do, Cheongju, Busan, and Incheon.
