【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=국립한국교통대학교(총장 윤승조)는 지난 6월 19일, 충북특수교육원에서 본교 AI에듀테크융합교육원(원장 김인숙)과 충청북도특수교육원(원장 최명옥)이 특수교육대상 학생의 AI 디지털 역량 강화와 디지털 포용 미래교육 협력체계 구축을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약식에는 김인숙 AI에듀테크융합교육원장과 최명옥 충북특수교육원장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자 5명이 참석했으며, 양 기관은 ▲AI 에듀테크 역량 강화 교육 ▲맞춤형 AI 디지털 미래첨단 기술 연계 교육 ▲교육과정 운영 및 행사 협력 등을 통해 특수교육대상 학생의 격차 없는 성장을 위한 상호 협력체계를 마련하기로 했다.
또한 협약식 당일, 충북에듀테크소프트랩의 이동형 ‘에듀이음 일렉버스랩’에서는 충북특수교육원이 주관한 『2025 충북 장애학생 e-페스티벌』과 연계한 체험 프로그램이 함께 운영되었다. 이번 프로그램은 대회를 마친 학생들이 미래형 모빌리티와 AI 기술을 직접 체험할 수 있도록 구성되었으며, 충북 지역 특수학교 및 특수학급에 재학 중인 초·중·고등학생과 교사 70여 명이 참여했다.
국립한국교통대학교 AI에듀테크융합교육원 김인숙 원장은 “이번 협약은 디지털 교육격차 해소, 특수교육대상 학생의 자립 역량강화, 사회통합 촉진이라는 공공 가치를 실현해 나가는 포용적 미래교육 협력모델로 큰 의미가 있다”라며 “특수교육대상 학생의 소외나 격차가 없는 모두의 성장을 위해 AI 에듀테크 통합 협력체계를 중심으로 디지털 포용 공교육 혁신을 선도해 나갈 것이다”라고 밝혔다.
해당 프로그램에 참여한 특수학교 교사는 “대회 결과에 아쉬워하던 학생이 에듀이음 버스 체험을 하며 다시 웃는 모습을 보고 정말 기뻤다”라며 “우리 학교에도 이런 프로그램이 찾아온다면 아이들이 무척 좋아할 것 같다”라고 소감을 전했다.
