【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 20일 음성군 청년센터 청년대로에서 ‘음성군 안팎 청년들 2기’ 발대식을 개최해 청년 참여기구 운영의 시작을 알렸다.
음성군 안팎 청년들은 안(청년공무원)과 팎(지역청년)을 한 팀으로 청년들이 정책 과정에 참여해 현실적 문제를 스스로 해결하고 활발한 소통으로 청년 네트워크를 형성하기 위한 민관협력 거버넌스 조직이다.
군은 1기 활동을 통해 확인된 청년정책의 실효성을 높이고, 청년들의 정책 참여를 더욱 활성화하기 위해 올해 2기 출범을 추진했다.
이번 2기는 작년 1기 운영 성과를 바탕으로 더 체계적이고 전문적인 활동을 위해 규모를 확대해 구성됐다. 기존 8개 팀 24명에서 8개 팀 총 31명으로 늘어나 청년들의 다양한 목소리를 더욱 폭넓게 수렴할 수 있게 됐다.
이날 발대식은 음성군 청년 공무원과 지역청년 등 총 30여 명의 청년들이 참석한 가운데 △위촉장 수여 △2기 활동 계획 안내 △팀별 상견례 순으로 진행됐다.
지난 4월 모집공고를 통해 선발된 음성군 청년 공무원 16명과 지역청년 15명으로 구성된 각 팀은 더 현실적이고 혁신적인 아이디어를 선보일 것으로 기대된다.
각 팀은 청년 공무원 2명과 지역 청년 2명으로 구성돼 행정과 현장의 균형 잡힌 시각을 통해 실질적인 정책 대안을 모색할 예정이다.
이들은 4개 분야(취업·창업, 주거·생활, 복지·문화, 참여·권리)에서 12월까지 각종 청년정책 모니터링을 통한 정책연구와 청년 네트워크 형성, 대외 활동을 통한 정책 홍보 등 다각도의 활동을 펼칠 계획이다.
특히 지역 청년들이 직면한 현실적 문제를 발굴하고 이를 실현 가능한 정책으로 구체화하는 데 중점을 둘 예정이다.
청년 참여기구 2기가 본격 출범하는 만큼 음성군 청년센터 ‘청년대로(센터장 조훈희)’는 청년들의 활동 거점 역할을 더욱 강화할 방침이다. 모임 장소 제공은 물론 분야별 전문가 멘토링, 소통 간담회 운영 등을 통해 청년들의 역량 강화와 정책 개발을 적극 지원할 계획이다.
조병옥 군수는 “1기 활동을 통해 청년들의 참여 의지와 정책 개발 역량을 확인할 수 있었다”며 “이번 2기는 규모와 체계를 더욱 강화한 만큼, 음성군 청년정책의 새로운 전환점이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.
