충남 천안시가 ‘청년친화도시’ 조성을 위해 청년정책 5대 분야 88개 사업에 총 937억 원을 투입한다고 11일 밝혔다.
이날 시청 중회의실에서 열린 ‘2025년 천안시 청년정책위원회 정기총회’에서는 박상돈 시장과 청년 위원, 사업추진부서장 등 19명이 참석해 2025년 청년정책 시행계획을 확정했다.
천안시는 일자리, 교육, 주거, 복지·문화, 참여·권리 등 5대 분야에서 18개 중점과제를 추진하여 청년의 성장, 정착, 자립, 참여를 지원할 계획이다.
각 분야별 지원 규모는 일자리 분야 24개 사업에 114억 원, 교육 분야 13개 사업에 59억 원, 주거 분야 4개 사업에 415억 원, 복지·문화 분야 32개 사업에 293억 원, 참여·권리 분야 15개 사업에 56억 원이 배정된다.
특히, 청년의 안정적 사회진출을 도모하기 위해 청년인턴 운영, 천안형 청년채용연계 프로그램, 그린스타트업타운 운영 등 37개 사업을 추진할 예정이다. 주거 안정성을 높이기 위해 천안신부 행복주택사업과 청년월세 한시특별지원 등 다양한 주거 지원 사업도 계획하고 있다.
복지·문화 분야에서는 청년 1인 가구 지원, 자립준비청년 지원, 청년 마음 돌봄 등 32개 사업을 통해 청년의 지역 정착과 삶의 질 향상을 도모할 예정이다. 또한, 청년의 시정 참여도를 높이기 위해 청년의 날 행사, 천안형 청년도전 프로젝트 등 15개 사업을 추진할 계획이다.
이번 정책을 통해 천안시는 청년들이 보다 나은 환경에서 성장하고 정착할 수 있도록 지원할 방침이다.
