브레이크뉴스 박정대 기자= 권기식 한중도시우호협회장은 14일 윤석열 대통령 탄핵소추안이 국회에서 가결된데 대해 "한국 민주주의의 승리이자 국민의 승리"라고 평가했다.
권 회장은 이날 보도자료를 통해 "탄핵 가결로 세계에 K-민주주의의 높은 수준을 보여주었다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "중국 방문 일정을 미루고 지난 며칠 동안 여의도 집회에서 청년들과 민주주의 회복과 '윤석열 탄핵'을 외쳤다"라며 "협회 사무실이 국회 앞에 있어 시위 청년들과 커피를 마시며 자주 대화도 나누었다"고 강조했다.
이어 한중 관계와 관련해 "윤 대통령은 12일 대국민담화에서 조차 한중 관계를 해치는 발언을 해 중국 정부의 반발을 샀다"며 "한중 관계의 가장 큰 리스크인 윤 대통령의 탄핵 가결로 한중 관계가 더욱 발전하기 바란다"고 말했다.
한편, 권 회장은 지난 12일 김대중 정부 청와대 비서관 모임인 국청회의 윤 대통령 탄핵 성명에 참여하기도 했다.
