【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군 덕산읍 주민자치회(회장 신갑수)는 제주시 이호동 주민센터(위원장 김성수)를 방문해 주민자치 활성화 우수사례 벤치마킹을 위한 교류의 시간을 가졌다고 25일 밝혔다.
이번 방문은 주민자치 활성화와 상생 협력의 계기를 마련하고 양 지역의 우수 주민자치 사례를 공유해 새로운 발전 방향을 모색하기 위해 추진됐다.
신갑수 회장과 김성수 위원장을 비롯한 두 지역 주민자치회 위원과 관계 공무원 등 40여 명이 참석했으며, 각 지역의 주민자치회 운영 사례 발표와 질의응답을 통해 실질적인 협력 방안 등을 논의했다.
신갑수 회장은 “앞으로도 제주시 이호동 주민자치위원회와 지속적인 협력 관계를 유지하며, 주민자치의 활성화와 지역사회 발전을 위한 다양한 방안을 모색하겠다”라고 말했다.
김성수 위원장은 “이번 교류를 통해 주민자치의 저변을 더욱 넓히고 나아가 서로의 장점을 공유하며, 더 나은 주민자치회로 성장할 수 있는 계기가 됐길 기대한다”라고 말했다.
