【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=‘2024 증평인삼 전국산악자전거대회’가 오는 11월 3일 증평 좌구산 MTB 경기장에서 2년 만에 개최된다.
증평군체육회가 주최하고 충청북도자전거연맹, 증평군자전거연맹이 주관하는 이번 대회는 전국 자전거 동호인 500여 명이 모여 열정과 화합을 다지는 자리가 될 것으로 기대된다.
대회 코스는 율리 휴양촌을 시작으로 삼기저수지, 광복교회, 좌구산MTB임도, 내봉천, 종암고개 정산까지 이어지는 19km 구간이다.
남자 4개부와 여자 2개부로 나뉘어 진행돼 순위를 가르게 된다.
e바이크는 번외 경기로 함께 진행될 예정이다.
특히 올해는 어린이 밸런스바이크 이벤트를 마련해 가족 단위 참가자들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.
최재옥 체육회장은 “전국 최고의 아름다운 단풍을 자랑하는 좌구산MTB코스를 통해 스릴을 만끽하시기 바란다”며, “이번 대회가 자전거 동호인들 간의 교류를 활성화하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 전했다.
