(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=광주시 사회서비스 정책을 한 눈에 볼 수 있는 ‘광주 사회서비스 통합박람회’가 20~21일 이틀간 김대중컨벤션센터에서 열린다.
광주시는 지난 20일 김대중컨벤션센터에서 ‘2024 광주 사회서비스 통합박람회’ 개막식을 개최했다.
‘내일이 빛나는 일상!’을 주제로 한 이번 통합박람회는 복지·보건의료·교육·고용·주거·문화·환경 등 사회서비스 7대 핵심 영역의 다양한 정보를 제공하고, 사회서비스에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
광주시가 주최하고, 광주시사회서비스원과 광주시장애인종합지원센터가 주관하는 이번 박람회는 첫째날 개막식, 정책포럼, 시민힐링 공연이 펼쳐지고, 둘째날에는 시민참여행사, 수어배우기, 부대행사 등이 다채롭게 진행된다.

강 시장 등 참석자들은 개막행사가 끝난 뒤 1시간 가량 전국 사회서비스원 통합부스, 지역자활센터 부스 등 50여개 부스를 일일이 돌며 사회서비스 종사자들을 격려하고, 현장 애로사항을 청취했다.
부스는 사회서비스 7대 분야 90여개가 마련돼 광주시 사회서비스 정책 등 다양한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 또 힐링존, 포토존, 스탬프행사 등 모든 세대가 어울려 함께 체험할 수 있는 부대행사도 열리고 있다.
강기정 광주시장은 “광주다움 통합돌봄으로 대표되는 광주가 소외 없는 도시, 서로 껴안는 포용 도시로 나아가기 위해 해야 할 일들이 참으로 많다”며 “행정의 빈 곳을 메우며 시정의 손발 끝의 모세혈관이 되어준 광주사회서비스원이 이번 박람회를 통해 광주만의 사회서비스와 정책의 진가를 유감없이 발휘할 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
