이에다라 세종시교육청은 이미 자투심사(2024. 5월)로 확정된 합강1유치원과 함께 초등학교와 중학교 설립을 확정짓게 되면서, 현재까지 주택건설사업계획 승인이 된 총 4개 블록(L1, L9, L12, L13) 1970세대의 학생들이 적기에 배치되어 쾌적한 교육환경을 제공받을 수 있는 기반을 마련하게 되었다.
세종 스마트시티 선도지구에 인접하여 설립 예정인 합강1초와 합강중은 모두 44학급(특수학급 2개 포함), 1050명 규모로 계획 중이며 학교별 총사업비 약 410억원이 투자되어 2027년 9월에 개교할 예정이다.
