제천시에 따르면 『제천에서 일주일 살아보기 2024』사업에 최종 496팀 1,336명이 지원했다. 25팀 내외의 참여팀 선발 계획 대비 무려 20:1에 달하는 수치다.
『충북 일단 살아보기 - 제천시편』은 최소 5박 6일부터 시작하는 긴 체류기간에도 153팀 431명의 신청자가 접수한 것으로 파악됐다. 최종 선정 팀 수는 25팀 내외가 될 전망이다.
최종 합격자는 7월 10일 17시부터 개별 통보되며, 이후 제출한 여행계획에 따라 제천지역 살아보기 여행을 진행하게 된다.
체재비 지원은 제천시 관내에서 여행을 목적으로 한 숙박, 식음, 교통, 관광체험 등에 대해서만 보존한다.
제천시 관계자는 "한달살러(어플), SNS홍보 등 온라인 홍보에 힘입어 예상치를 크게 넘어서는 지원자가 사업에 참여 해 주셨다”며, “뜨거운 관심과 참여에 감사드린다.”고 전했다.
한편, 지난 6월 20일 참가자 모집으로 시작한 본사업은 제천에서 최소 2박 3일에서 6박 7일까지 머물며, 필수 방문지 방문 및 온라인 관광홍보 콘텐츠 작성 등 제시된 미션을 수행하면 기준 금액 내에서 체재비를 보전하는 사업이다.
