브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= '60회 백상예술대상'이 오는 5월 7일 개최된다.
1일 백상예술대상사무국은 "올해 60주년이라는 기념비적 해를 맞이하는 '60회 백상예술대상'은 내달 7일 오후 5시부터 서울 강남구 코엑스에서 열리며, JTBC·JTBC2·JTBC4에서 동시 생중계된다"고 밝혔다.
TV·영화·연극을 아우르는 국내 유일무이 종합 예술 시상식 '백상예술대상'은 엄정한 심사를 통해 후보를 정한다.
후보 선정 전, 다양한 목소리를 참고하기 위해 업계 전문 평가위원 60명에게 부문별 사전 설문을 진행한다. TV·영화·연극을 대표하는 전문가 집단의 추천으로 위촉된 부문별 심사위원이 치열한 심사 과정을 거쳐 최종 후보를 결정한다.
올해 심사 대상은 지난해 4월 1일부터 올해 3월 31일까지 지상파·종편·케이블·OTT·웹에서 제공된 콘텐트, 같은 시기 국내에서 공개한 한국 장편영화 및 공연한 연극이다.
TV 부문은 지상파·종편·케이블·OTT·웹에서 제공된 콘텐트 최소 4부작, 연작의 경우 심사일 기준으로 3분의 1 이상 방송된 작품만 포함된다. 단 지난해 후보 심사 기간에 맞물려 배제된 작품은 올해 심사 대상으로 분류된다.
영화 부문도 같은 시기 국내에서 공개한 한국 장편영화를 대상으로 한다. 역시 심사 기간과 개봉 시기가 맞물려 배제된 작품은 내년 심사 대상으로 분류된다. 심사 기간 장편영화로 데뷔한 감독은 신인 감독상 부문에 해당된다.
