충청권 시민사회가 디트뉴스24 노동조합에 대한 사주의 부당노동행위와 갑질 의혹을 제기하면서 사주의 “반언론·반인권 행태 중단하라”고 촉구했다.
디트뉴스24 대주주인‘타이어뱅크 김정규 회장 갑질 저지 및 디트뉴스24 언론 공공성 지키기 공동대책위원회(이하 디트뉴스 공대위)’는 15일 오전 11시 타이어뱅크 본사가 위치한 세종뱅크빌딩 앞에서 출범 기자회견을 열고 “디트뉴스24 대주주와 경영진이 지난 23년 간 쌓아온 ‘정론(正論)의 역사’를 무너뜨리는 것을 막기 위해 공대위를 출범한다”고 밝혔다.
그동안 디트뉴스24 노동조합은 대주주 김정규 타이어뱅크 회장의 ‘반언론·반노동·반인권’ 행태가 도를 넘었다고 지적하고, 지방권력과 유착한 편집권 침해, 언론 사유화 행태에 이어 각종 부당노동행위, 막말까지 자행했다고 주장했다.
앞서 디트뉴스24 대주주 김정규 타이어뱅크 회장의 편집권 침해, 인사 전횡 논란은 다수 언론을 통해 드러난 바 있다.
이날 전국언론노동조합이 공개한 김 회장의 주요 발언에는 이장우 대전시장, 김태흠 충남도지사 등을 평가하며 칭찬 기사를 쓰라고 지시하는 내용, 기업과 정치인 등 지역인재를 언급하며 비판은 방어해주고, 도와주라고 지시하는 내용 등이 포함돼있다.

정종미 세종시민사회단체연대회의 공동대표는 이날 연대발언에서“노동자의 고혈로 쌓은 부와 권력이 성공이고, 시민 알권리를 차단하며 기자들을 권력의 시녀로 만드는 것이 김정규 회장의 철학이냐”며 “충청권 지역언론 디트뉴스의 역할과 노력이 대주주 한 사람에 의해 무너져서는 안될 것”이라고 말했다.
