【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 27일 시청 남한강회의실에서 공직자 재산등록신고와 이해충돌 방지법에 대한 청렴교육을 실시했다.
이날 교육은 재산등록신고와 심사, 재산등록 시스템 사용방법, 고지거부 등 작성요령 및 주요 실수사례 중심으로 진행됐으며 공직자 재산등록의 중요성과 투명한 신고의 필요성을 일깨우기 위해 마련됐다.
현재 충주시 재산등록 신고대상 공직자는 시장, 시의원, 4급 이상 일반직 공무원, 감사·회계·세무·건축·토목·환경·식품위생 특정분야 7급이상 공무원, 부동산 유관부서 직원 등 총 574명이다.
등록의무자는 2022년 12월 31일 기준으로 본인, 배우자, 직계존비속의 재산변동사항을 공직윤리시스템에 신고해야 한다.
충주시는 정확한 재산등록 신고를 돕기 위해 재산변동신고 안내서 제작 및 배부, 내부전산망을 통한 안내문 게시 등 홍보에도 주력하고 있다.
시는 정기 재산변동신고 기한인 2023년 2월 28일 이내에 100% 정확하게 신고를 완료하도록 한다는 계획이다.
이어서 진행된 청렴교육에서는 직무 수행 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 부정한 사익추구를 예방할 수 있도록 공직자가 해야 할 의무와 하지 말아야 할 행위 등을 안내했다.
전명숙 감사담당관은 “재산등록사항은 공직 정보를 이용한 부정한 재산증식을 방지해, 공무집행의 공정성 및 깨끗하고 투명한 공직자로서의 윤리를 확립하는데 목적이 있다”며 “등록의무자가 보다 편리하고 정확하게 재산 신고를 할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
