【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=광혜원면체육회(회장 유상희)는 24일 광혜원중학교에서 제16회 광혜원면 면민체육대회를 개최했다.
광혜원면 면민체육대회는 2년에 한 번 개최되는 행사로, 코로나19로 인해 3년 만에 개최됐다.
이번 행사에는 광혜원면 38개 마을 주민 1천여명이 참여한 가운데 광혜원면 풍물단 식전 공연, 표창장 수여 및 개회식, 체육경기, 노래자랑, 축하공연 등으로 진행됐다.
체육경기에서는 청백팀 두 개 팀으로 나눠 윷놀이, 줄다리기, 단체줄넘기 등의 단체경기, 맥주 빨리 마시기 등의 개인 경기로 진행됐다.
유상희 광혜원면 체육회장은 “3년 만에 개최되는 행사에 많은 면민들이 참여해주셔서 감사하다”며 “이번 행사로 면민들이 화합해 광혜원면이 발전할 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다” 고 말했다.
