청주대 서광현 산학부총장, IT 전문가협회 ‘정보인상’ 수상

청주대(총장 차천수)는 서광현 산학부총장이 24일 오후 서울에서 열린 제36회 정보인의 날 행사에서 ‘정보인상’을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

올해로 36회를 맞는 정보의 날은 대한민국 정부에 최초로 컴퓨터가 도입된 1967년 6월을 기념하기 위해 제정됐으며, 컴퓨터 도입 20년째 되는 1987년부터 한국 IT전문가협회의 주최로 매년 열리고 있다.

서광현 부총장은 “현재 우리나라 IT업계의 발전은 산학연관 협력모델이 토대가 되었다고 생각한다”라며 “앞으로 디지털 전환시대를 맞아 우리 정보인의 역할이 중요한 만큼, 우리나라 IT 산업 발전을 위해 고민하고 노력하는 정보인이 되겠다”고 말했다.

서광현 부총장은 지식경제부 우정사업정보센터장, 산업통상자원부 기술표준원장, ㈜한국무역정보통신 대표이사, 한국전자문서산업협회장, 한국디스플레이산업협회 상근부회장 등을 역임했으며, 홍조근정훈장, 대통령 표창 등을 수여받았다.
