“Flowers Blooming on the Blade” is a collection of award-winning poems that were awarded through a contest held with a total prize money of 10 million won under the catchphrase “liberal democracy, let poets keep”. This collection of poetry is evaluated as the first in the history of Korean culture and publishing in that it is not only the size of the prize money, but also the collection of works that poets competed through open competition to protect liberal democracy. “In a situation where freedom is suppressed and citizens are oppressed by the dictatorship in the mask of democracy and the violent regime, the mysterious phenomenon of Korean democracy being reversed and destroyed by the disguise of power is witnessed. ”The great significance can be found in that it was practiced (in the first free democratic impression).

It is expected to set off an alarm bell in the left-handed cultural world. Instead of fighting for equality, fairness, and justice with a clear criterion of improper reality, it issued a declaration of literary man in support of the former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, who pursued self-interest with public authority while ignoring the law. It is expected that the awakening of prosecutors general Yoon Seok-yeol, who is working hard, and unconscionable non-poets and non-literary people who are shouting that they should impeach judges with style and style.

Judging process and winner decision

About 40 poets entered the 1st Free Democratic Appreciation Competition, 10 entries per person. Senior poet Park Yi-do took over as the chairman, and poet Kim Chang-beom (creating and criticizing in 1972) and Critic Jo Myung-je (a poetry literature critic in 1985) participated as the judges. The screening was conducted in a blind test method in which the applicant's name was erased and only the works were judged. As a result of the screening, poet Yong-Seok Yoo, poet Ha Soo-hyun, Hong Chan-seon for the first prize, and Kim Mi-seon, Kim Byeong-jun, Park So-myeong, Yoo Jae-won and Lee Hyo-ae, were selected for the excellence award. In the review review written by the jury representative of Cho Myeong-je, “The consciousness of the era of crisis in which the constitutional order is destroyed, the poetic spirit and poetic determination of the existential existence of a poet are unfortunately expressed with a generous tone, and the aesthetic decision was made by the poet Yoo Seok. Above>, etc. were unanimously selected as the grand prize.” In addition to the concise statement of “Korea is on the edge of the blade / standing on the edge of a dizzying cliff”, the strength and language of thought, such as “When the poet's language flows through the wind, the moonlight cut off the blade will cut the hearts of spectators.” That the implicit sincerity of the emotions flowing in the underworld of people shows the poetic truth of an inalienable free democratic marriage.

Poet Ha Soo-Hyun's <Revolution, Poet>, etc., who had a fierce competition over the subject, said, “It was regrettable that it showed an overwhelming ability in expressive aesthetics and excellent recognition of the subject of poetry itself, but it made me feel a certain distance from our history and actual conditions. There was” he said.

Regarding poet Hong Chan-seon's "The Judge is in Berlin", etc., "The current regime has created a rich world of works with a sharp gaze and sensational language of the phenomenon of hypocrisy, self-righteousness, and destruction of freedom and democratic spirit, which have been continuously revealed."
