<kjs00112@hanmail.net>

Holmes was also a “storeless detective” who “combined the boarding room as a detective office”!

No one would be ridiculed by posting a signboard “Detective Office” in the “Little Room of the House I’m Living in”

-Kim Jong-sik, Director, Korea Research Institute

“221B Baker Street, London, UK” is the address of the boarding house where private detective Sherlock Holmes, the protagonist of British mystery Arthur Conan Doyle's “Sherlock Holmes series,” lived. Holmes used this boarding house (room) rented by Mrs. Hudson from the early 1880s to 1903, as a "Detective Office." It's also where Holmes' friend, Doctor Watson, lived in a joint life when he was single. It is said that a letter requesting the case still arrives at 221B, Baker Street, the address of Holmes, making the postman perplexing.

From Holmes' performance and capabilities, it may be unbelievable that the old boarding room itself was his "Detective Office." However, he willingly practiced that what a detective needs is not a “likely detective office”, but a “straight consciousness (義俠心)”. There is no “Holmes Detective Office” outside of his boarding house in any of the 56 short stories and 4 feature novels with the role of Holmes.

How would Holmes understand if today's hopefuls for the detective business are struggling to have a'Detective Office' with hundreds or tens of thousands of won worth of money to be treated as a detective after only one'Detective Office worth hanging a signboard on the roadside'? ? I dare to say deeply to those wishing to be in the detective business. What if the detective office was a small apartment room, and what if it was a villa doorway? There is nothing that shouldn't or shouldn't be done by having a detective office at home (apartment, etc.) Applause for support to the recent'cheap detectives and righteous detectives' who have registered their apartment as a detective office (with the tax office) to reduce costs such as rent in difficult conditions such as coronavirus. send.

If it is a'joint detective office or a corporate detective office', a separate space called'office' is essential, but if it is'detective business as self-employed','my home where I stay the most time becomes my detective office. Isn't it appropriate?','The detective business is different from the general service industry, so it is a business that is successful only by meeting three or four true customers a year, so I don't feel the need to have an office.' The emergence of a pragmatic trend is a global trend, saying that opening an office can be done slowly when there is a need to expand the business after accumulating practical experience.

In Japan, more than 60,000 detectives exist in various forms, of which 20,000 private detectives have long been engaged in a nonstore or “home detective business”. Those who use their own family as a business base and are mainly active in the local community as a goodwill, use the detective's house or nearby coffee shop, restaurant, park, etc. as a meeting place when they have a business to consult (contact) customers. I don't feel embarrassed at all to introduce my home as a detective office. Rather, it has received favorable reviews from customers as "home detectives are people with a clearer identity or responsibility."

There may be people who consider it as ‘the home detective will fall behind the role or capabilities of a joint detective office or a corporate detective office with a signboard,’ just because it is a ‘self-managed detective business without a store (home detective)’. However, such people are those who are not familiar with the nature of detectives. Such perception can be overcome (improved) sufficiently with skill (measurement). A person who knows that the game of a detective (private investigation business) depends on the individual detective's'observation, reasoning ability, and ability to intuition matters', but not'the ability to operate a detective office' Knows everything.

Here are some examples of “promotion plans for detective affairs” that are frequently asked by “non-store self-employed detective workers”. First of all, among the detective affairs,'sales' and'public interest' should be allocated about 5:5 to respond to the public's interest, and then, using freshly produced business cards and novel materials, using homepages and blogs, and enhancing credibility through contributions, etc. Cooperation with local lawyers, lawyers, lawyers, administrators, official brokers, etc., cooperation with local businesses, schools, etc., cooperation with local meetings to search for missing children, runaways, and missing persons, cooperation with local reporters and NGOs, Strengthening ties with political parties, local council members, and political inquirers in the region (especially collecting and providing data necessary for legislative activities of local council members), solidarity with local crime prevention groups and volunteer groups, cooperation with local interest groups by industry, local These include strengthening ties with advisory organizations of various levels of the organization, and cooperation with facility owners (or event organizers) who need to capture other human and material hazards.
