브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 그룹 워너원 출신 라이관린이 길거리 흡연 논란에 대해 사과했다.
라이관린은 24일 자신의 웨이보를 통해 “공인으로서 잘못된 행동을 했다. 여러분들의 비판을 받아들이고 다시는 그러지 않겠다고 약속한다”는 사과글을 남겼다.
최근 중국 포털사이트, 온라인 커뮤니티를 중심으로 라이관린이 길거리에서 담배를 피우고 침을 뱉는 모습이 담긴 사진과 영상이 공개됐다. 이에 중국 누리꾼들의 비난이 이어졌고, 라이관린은 SNS 등에서 실시간 검색어 1위에 오르자 결국 사과한 것으로 보여진다.
한편, 라이관린은 지난 2017년 방송된 Mnet ‘프로듀스101 시즌2’에 출연해 큰 사랑을 받으며 프로젝트 그룹 워너원으로 데뷔했다.
지난해 1월 워너원 활동을 마친 라이관린은 같은 소속사 식구인 펜타곤 우석과 유닛 활동을 펼쳤으며, 중국 드라마 촬영, 한국 예능 출연 등 다양한 분야에서 활동했다.
하지만 라이관린은 지난해 7월 소속사 큐브엔터테인먼트를 상대로 전속계약 효력정지 가처분 소송을 제기했다. 법원은 이를 기각했지만, 라이관린은 현재 중국에서 독자적으로 활동을 이어가고 있다.
