(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도는 도민과의 약속인 공약사업의 실현 가능성을 높이고 도정 주요 정책의 투명성과 책임성을 강화하기 위해 3일 도청 왕인실에서 2025년 하반기 도민평가단 정기회를 개최했다.
'도민평가단'은 도민의 눈높이에서 공약 추진 상황을 점검하고 도정 주요사업 평가 과정에 도민이 직접 참여하도록 마련된 제도다. 반기별로 정기회를 열고 연 1회 직접 현장을 찾아 사업을 평가하고 있다.
이날 정기회에는 도민평가단과 관계 공무원 등 150여 명이 참석한 가운데, ▲민선 8기 도지사 공약 추진상황 보고 ▲공약 실천계획 변경 심의 ▲한국매니페스토실천본부 특강 ▲2025년 도정 주요사업 현장평가 결과 보고 순으로 진행됐다.
회의에서는 민선 8기 20개 전략 100대 공약 세부 실천계획에 대해 평가단과 실무부서 간 상호 의견을 공유했다. 특히 정책 여건 변화에 따라 실천계획 조정이 필요한 공약 총 10건을 논의 끝에 확정했다.
또한, 이광재 (사)한국매니페스토실천본부 사무총장이 매니페스토 우수사례 공유를 통한 공약 실천방법을 주제로 특강을 진행하여 평가단의 정책 이해도와 평가 역량을 한층 높였다.
이어, 평가단이 올해 사업 현장을 직접 방문해 수행한 평가 결과와 제시된 다양한 의견을 공유하는 시간을 가졌다. 이는 정책의 질적 향상과 현장 적합성을 동시에 높이는 계기가 되었다는 평가다.
