신천지자원봉사단 김포지부(지부장 신동국·이하 김포지부)가 취약계층 어르신들을 위한 따뜻한 봉사 활동을 39회째 이어가며 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있다.
김포지부는 지난 11월28일 오전 10시 고촌읍 문화 광장에서 열린 ‘참! 좋은 사랑의 밥차’ 무료 급식 현장에서 설거지와 주방 정리 봉사를 실시했다. 이들은 지난해 3월부터 김포시자원봉사센터가 주관하는 이 프로그램에 정기적으로 참여해 총 39회 활동했으며, 상·하반기에 배식과 설거지 봉사를 번갈아가며 지원하며 어르신들과 온정을 나누고 있다.

다양한 연령층의 ‘열정’ 담긴 손길
