【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항테크노파크(이하, 포항TP)는‘2023년 예비수소전문기업 육성지원사업’을 통해 ㈜햅스가 경상북도 1호‘수소전문기업’으로 선정됐다고 7일 밝혔다.

산업통상자원부가 주관한 예비수소전문기업육성지원사업은 경상북도와 포항시 지원을 받아 포항TP가 주관하는 사업으로 수소의 생산과 저장, 운송 및 활용 등 수소산업 전분야에 대한 시제품 제작 지원을 통해 2025년까지 포항 지역 내 수소전문기업 10개사 육성을 목표로 하고 있다.
수소전문기업으로 선정된 ㈜햅스(대표 이동활)는 수소연료전지 및 신재생에너지 종합 솔루션 공급을 목표로 2021년 설립된 기업으로 맞춤형 연료전지 파워팩 사업과 함께 스택 리사이클링 서비스, 발전용 연료전지 엔지니어링 서비스 등 수소관련 사업영역을 확장하고 있다.
이번 ㈜햅스의‘수소전문기업’지정을 시작으로 지역기업들의 수소산업 진출이 더욱 촉진될 것으로 보이며, 지역내 수소산업의 활성화와 함께 투자유치에도 큰 탄력이 붙을 것으로 전망된다.
포항TP 배영호 원장은 “(주)햅스와 같은 수소전문기업들을 적극 발굴하여 지역 미래산업으로서 수소산업이 핵심역할을 할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”며, “포항TP가 가진 우수한 자원과 인력들을 바탕으로 포항을 국내 수소산업의 거점으로 육성하겠다.”라고 말했다.
한편, 포항TP는 ‘수소연료전지발전클러스터사업‘과‘수소연료전지인증센터’의 운영을 통해 지역 내 수소산업 생태계 조성과 기업경쟁력 강화를 위하여 노력하고 있다.

Haps Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Dong-hwal), which was selected as a hydrogen specialized company, was established in 2021 with the goal of providing comprehensive solutions for hydrogen fuel cells and new and renewable energy, and provides stack recycling services and fuel cell engineering services for power generation along with customized fuel cell power pack business. We are expanding our hydrogen-related business areas.
Starting with the designation of Haps Co., Ltd. as a ‘hydrogen specialized company’, the advancement of local companies into the hydrogen industry is expected to be further promoted, and it is expected that great momentum will be gained in attracting investment along with the revitalization of the hydrogen industry in the region.

Meanwhile, Pohang TP is working to create a hydrogen industry ecosystem and strengthen corporate competitiveness in the region through the operation of the ‘Hydrogen Fuel Cell Power Generation Cluster Project’ and the ‘Hydrogen Fuel Cell Certification Center’.
