김다현은 지난 30일 전남 완도군청에서 ‘가뭄 극복을 위한 생수 기부’ 행사를 통해 500ml ‘다현 산소수’ 1만병을 기부했다.
광주·전남 등 남부지방에 극심한 가뭄이 이어지고 있는 가운데, 일부 지역에서는 식수가 부족한 안타까운 소식을 접한 김다현은 모델로 활동하고 있는 ‘다현 산소수’를 신우철 완도군수에게 전달했다.
31일 김다현의 소속사 현컴퍼니 측은 “남부지방 가뭄이 1년 넘게 이어지면서 생활용수와 공업용수는 물론 식수가 부족해 어려움을 겪는 분들을 위해 김다현 양이 조금이나마 도움이 될 수 있는 방법을 찾으면서 생수를 기부하게 됐다”며 “늘 많은 분들의 사랑을 받으며 활동을 하고 있다는 김다현 양 스스로의 뜻을 헤아려 앞으로도 기부 활동을 이어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.
4세 나이에 판소리를 배우기 시작한 후 MBN ‘보이스트롯’ 준우승, TV조선 ‘미스트롯2’ 3위에 오른 김다현은 지난 2월 2집 정규앨범 ‘열다섯’을 발매, 트리플 타이틀곡 ‘엄마’, ‘어즈버’, ‘이젠 알겠더이다’로 맹활약을 펼치고 있다.
