(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자= 전남도와 전남테크노파크는 18일까지 이틀간 수도권 출향 청년의 지역정착 유도를 위한 출향 청년 기업 탐방 및 취업 특강을 운영했다.
이번 행사에는 서울 남도학숙에서 생활하는 출향 청년 20명이 참여해 도내 우수 기업인 포스코 광양제철소, 국내 최대 내화물 생산기업인 ㈜조선내화, 화학전문기업인 ㈜TKG휴켐스를 현장 견학하고 채용 관련 질의응답을 통해 궁금증을 해소했다. (사진)
출향 청년 기업 탐방 및 취업 특강은 산업통상자원부에서 국비를 지원받는 ‘지역기업-청년 희망이음사업’의 하나로 이뤄졌다. 기업 탐방 외에도 직무 관련 교육 및 면접 특강을 운영해 출향 청년 취업 준비에 실질적 도움이 되도록 추진했다.
‘지역기업-청년 희망이음사업’은 일하기 좋은 우수 기업을 발굴해 소개하고 지역 청년과 기업 간 취업 연계함으로써 청년의 정착을 지원하는 사업이다.
김선주 전남도 일자리경제과장은 “전남 우수 기업 탐방은 수도권에 거주 하는 전남 출신 인재에게 지역 기업에 대한 관심을 높이고 취업 선택 범위를 도내 기업으로 넓히는 의미가 있다”며 “출향 청년이 고향으로 돌아와 정착하도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
한편 전남도와 전남테크노파크는 그동안 ‘희망이음 지원사업’을 통해 지역 학생 731명을 대상으로 도내 34개 기업 탐방과 취업캠프 운영, 기업과 지역 간 문제 해결을 위한 아이디어 경진대회 개최, 기업 실무 패키지 지원사업 등 다양한 취업 연계 지원사업을 추진했다.
