안양시, 청년의 자립·성공·행복 목표로 250억원 투입한다

2023 청년정책 종합추진계획 보고회 개최…소통·취업·문화 등 3대 분야 59개 사업

안양시가 지난 2월 28일 ‘2023 청년정책 종합추진계획 보고회’를 개최, 청년의 자립·성공·행복을 목표로 주거, 일자리, 문화·복지 등 생활 전반에 걸친 청년 지원책을 마련하여 250억원을 투입하는 청년정책 59개 사업을 발표했다.

 

최대호 안양시장이 직접 주재한 이날 보고회에서는 청년정책관, 고용노동과 등 11개 관련 부서장, 안양산업진흥원 등 공공기관 담당자가 참석한 가운데 청년정책 목표·방향 및 사업 발표와 사업 효과를 극대화할 협력 방안 등이 논의됐다.

안양시는 올해 취업, 결혼, 육아 등 청년 이행단계별 지원책을 추진하고 청년 친화적 생태계 조성에 나서 △소통·참여 △취업·창업 △문화·복지 등 3대 분야에 총 59개 사업을 추진한다. 이중 민선 8기 공약사업이 12개, 신규사업이 8개이다.

 

안양시는 관련 예산으로 지난해 대비 38억원 증액된 250억원을 편성하고 청년의 위기 극복과 생활 안정화에 주력할 방침이다.

 

안양시는 먼저, 소통 및 참여 분야 17개 사업을 운영해 청년의 활동기반을 강화한다.

 

안양시가 3월부터 운영을 시작한 청년인재풀은 정책 결정에 참여할 청년 인재 상시 등록 제도로, 다양한 분야의 청년 인재를 발굴하고 정책에 청년의 목소리를 적극 반영할 계획이다.

 

청년들의 안정적인 참여를 유도코자 운영 중인 단계별 청년 네트워크도 지원을 강화한다. 청년정책서포터즈로 시작해 2단계 청년동아리, 3단계 청년단체, 마지막 청년정책조정위원회까지 워크숍 및 역량강화교육 등을 통해 청년의 단계별 성장을 지원한다.

 

그밖에도 청년의 맞춤형 정책 추진을 위한 ‘청년생활 빅데이터’ 구축과 찾아가는 청년정책 설명회 ‘청년정책 배달’ 등 신규사업도 추진된다.

 

안양시는 청년의 경제적 자립을 도울 취업 및 창업지원책으로 총 26개 사업에 60억원을 투입한다.

안양시는 청년의 도전과 성장을 뒷받침할 50억원 규모의 ‘2호 청년창업펀드’에 출자액 10억원을 예산 편성하고, 하반기 결성을 목표로 투자운용사 선정 등 절차를 진행 중이다. 청년창업·초기기업의 성장 지원을 통해 일자리 창출은 물론 안양시 정착도 유도할 계획이다.

 

취업을 돕는 다양한 사업들도 연중 시행한다. 구직활동에 필요한 각종 자격 및 어학시험 응시료 지원사업, 구직기간 단축을 위한 청년안정 취업학교, 구직단념 청년의 노동시장 진입을 돕는 청년도전 지원사업을 추진한다.

 

안양시 2023-2026 일자리대책 종합계획에 따라 올해 공공부문 5,200명의 청년일자리를 창출하고 직장 체험과 업무 능력 향상의 기회를 제공한다.

 

안양시는 문화·복지분야 16개 사업에 181억원을 투입해 청년의 주거안정을 돕고 다양한 생활지원책을 시행한다. 그 가운데 청년 전월세 보증금 대출이자 지원, 청년 월세지원, 신혼부부 주택매입 및 전세자금 대출이자 지원, 다둥이네 보금자리 지원 등 주거안정 지원책 추진에 42억원을 편성했다. 주거환경이 열악하고 이사빈도가 높은 청년 취약계층을 위한 이사비 지원사업도 하반기 추진을 목표로 준비 중이다.

 

또 2028년까지 3186세대의 청년 주택 공급을 위한 중장기 로드맵을 수립한 가운데, 올해에는 덕현지구 청년임대주택과 다둥이네 보금자리로 청년에게 총 110세대의 주택을 지원한다.
