최태원 SK그룹 회장이 인류가 더 나은 미래를 설계하기 위해서는 고정관념에서 벗어난 유연성과 다양성으로 해결책을 찾아야 한다고 강조했다.

 

최 회장은 지난 1일 최종현학술원과 일본 도쿄대가 공동 개최한 ‘도쿄포럼 2022’에 참석, 개막연설을 통해 “우리 모두는 더 안전하고, 더 번영하는 미래를 설계하는데 집중해야 한다”며 “철학과 과학의 대화가 주제인 이번 도쿄포럼은 여러 지구촌 문제를 해결하는데 있어 새로운 아이디어를 제공하는 플랫폼이 될 것으로 확신한다”고 밝혔다.

 

도쿄포럼은 최종현학술원이 2019년부터 도쿄대와 함께 개최하는 국제포럼으로, 팬데믹으로 지난 2년간 온라인 개최됐으나 올해는 온라인과 오프라인으로 동시에 진행된다.

 

최 회장은 이날 개막연설에서 글로벌 문제를 해결하기 위해 무엇이 필요한지 청중에게 질문을 제기하고, 직접 답변하는 방식으로 해결 방안을 역설했다.
