올해 세종시 가장 좋은 쌀은 '삼광쌀'

올해 세종지역에서 생산된 쌀 가운데 가장 좋은 쌀로 배경진(소정면)씨가 생산한 ‘삼광쌀’이 선정됐다.

20일 세종시에 따르면 시는 지난 18일 도담동 싱싱장터에서 진행된 ‘제7회 밥맛 좋은 쌀 선정 경진대회’에서 이같이 선정했다고 밝혔다.

좋은 쌀 선정은 단백질·수분 함량 성분분석 기계심사, 색택 유관검사, 소비자 식미평가 등을 거쳤고, 이번 대회에서 출품된 삼광 쌀이 가장 좋은 쌀로 선정됐다.

평가 결과 배경진씨의 쌀은 기계심사에서 단백질 함량이 낮고 유관심사에서 색깔과 윤택이 좋으며 완전립이고 식미평가 냄새와 질감항목에서 최고점을 받았다.

최우수상에는 이원호(연서면)씨가 우수상에는 우종선(장군면)씨가, 장려상에는 채순문(조치원읍)씨, 박진철(금남면)씨가 수상했다.

세종시는 우수 생산 농가에서 생산한 쌀을 싱싱장터 매장에 통해 소비자들이 언제든 좋은 쌀을 구매할 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
