브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 검찰이 이재명 더불어민주당 대표의 성남FC 후원금 의혹과 관련해 두산그룹 본사에 대한 압수수색에 나섰다.
20일 검찰에 따르면 수원지검 성남지청 형사3부(부장검사 유민종)는 이날 오전부터 서울 중구에 위치한 두산그룹 본사 서버실에 대한 압수수색을 진행하고 있다.
검찰은 앞선 16일 두산건설 본사와 성남시, 성남FC 사무실 등 20여 곳을 압수수색한 바 있다. 이날 두산그룹 본사에 대한 압수수색 역시 이재명 대표를 둘러싼 수사의 연장선으로 보인다.
이재명 대표는 성남시장(성남FC 구단주)으로 재직하던 2014~2016년 두산건설로부터 50억원 상당의 후원금을 받고, 두산그룹이 소유하고 있던 성남시 분당구 정자동 병원부지 용도변경 등 편의를 제공했다는 의혹이 있다.
당시 성남시는 용적률과 건축 규모, 연면적 등을 3배가량 높여줬음에도 전체 부지의 10%만 기부채납을 받아, 두산그룹에 특혜를 준 게 아니냐는 의혹이 일었다.
경찰은 이와 관련 지난 13일 이재명 대표와 성남시 공무원 1명, 두산건설 전 대표에 대해 기소의견으로 검찰에 통보했다.
