비철금속 제련 기업 고려아연(회장 최창근)이 집중호우 피해 극복 성금 5억원을 기부했다.
희망브리지 전국재해구호협회(회장 송필호)는 고려아연이 집중호우로 삶의 터전을 잃은 이웃들을 위해 써달라며 수재 의연금 5억원을 맡겨왔다고 16일 밝혔다.
고려아연은 2019년 강원 고성‧속초 산불 때 3억원, 2020년 수해와 지난 3월 동해안산불 때 5억원씩 희망브리지에 기부한 바 있다.
희망브리지 김정희 사무총장은 “재해가 발생할 때마다 피해 이웃들을 돕는 데에 앞장서주시는 고려아연에 감사드린다”며 “따뜻한 손길이 이재민분들에게 온전히 전해지도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
