충북대, ‘메가 충청 OneHealthy City Platform 구축’ 협약 체결

감염병 안심 도시 구축에 동참한다!

【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북대학교(총장 김수갑)가 지난 19일 충청권 7개 대학 및 수질·공기 질, IT 관련 4개의 전문기관과 ‘감염병 안심 도시 구축을 위한 메가 충청 OneHealthy City Platform’ 업무협약을 체결했다.

 

이번 협약에는 충북대를 비롯해 건국대, 건양대, 고려대, 세명대, 순천향대, 한남대 등 충청권 7개 대학과 한국물환경학회, 대한상하수도학회, 한국대기환경학회, KT충남/충북법인고객본부 등 4개 기관이 참여해 생활 환경성 질환 관리를 위한 예방 공유협업 생태계 조성, 메타버스 기반 건강 모니터링, 비대면 치료 인프라 개발 등을 추진하여 고부가 가치창출 등을 위해 협력하기로 했다.

 

또한 각 참여 대학과 기관은 바이오헬스 신산업 분야와 OneHealthy City Platform, 의료 정책과의 연계, 의료데이터 표준화 인증, 반려동물과 함께하는 스마트 힐링센터 구축, 감염병 독성시험 및 백신 개발 등을 통해 감염병 안심도시 구축에 힘쓸 예정이다.

 

특히 충북대학교는 바이오헬스 신산업 분야와 원헬스 플랫폼, 의료정책과의 연계를 통해 고부가가치 창출을 선도하고자 한다.

 

이영성 충북대 산학협력단장은 “하나뿐인 지구에서 닥치는 환경의 위협은 건강과 질병에서도 동일하다. 세계적인 재난으로 고통 받는 코로나19에 효과적이고 가장 시급한 대응을 위해서 모든 국민들과 함께 주변 위해환경에 관심을 가지고 동참해 4차 산업혁명 시대를 선도해 나가길 기대한다.”고 말했다.
