임기를 반 년 정도 남겨 놓고 문재인 대통령이 '열심'을 내고 있다. 한 달 간의 훈련이 필요하다는 전투(훈련)기 뒷좌석 탑승을 하더니, 로켓 발사 현장을 직접 찾아 관계자들을 치하하며 우리의 우주 기술이 얼마나 발전했는지 내외적으로 과시를 하고 교황청을 방문하여 한반도 평화 정착에 대한 강력한 염원을 표현했다.
문재인 대통령의 일련의 행보들에는 대한민국 대통령으로서 국가와 민족의 '무궁한 영광'을 위해 마지막 순간까지 최선을 다하겠다는 마음이 잘 표현되어 있다. 비록 재임 기간 중 몇몇 정책과 리더십에서 많은 아쉬움을 남긴 것이 사실이지만, 그러나 대한민국에 대한 그의 '진심'이 거짓인 순간은 단 한 번도 없었다. 특히 한반도 평화 정착에 대한 그의 '진심'은 매우 인상적일 정도로 계속 이어지고 있다. 부디 그의 진심에 북한 당국이 제대로, 그리고 올바로 호응을 하길 바란다.
그리하여 진짜로 남북을 갈라놓은 군사분계선 철조망들이 모조로 박물관으로 들어가고, 한반도 남쪽의 젊은이들이 북한의 젊은이들과 함께 열차를 타고 중국과 러시아의 대륙을 지나 유럽까지 자유롭게 나아가는 세상이 오길 바란다.
이것 하나만으로도 우리 젊은이들은 기성세대와는 완전히 다른 상상력과 창의력을 배양하게 될 것이다. heungyong57@hanmail.net

President Moon Jae-in's series of actions well expresses his will to do his best until the last minute for the 'endless glory' of the nation and people as President of the Republic of Korea. Although it is true that he left many regrets in several policies and leadership during his tenure, there has never been a single moment when his 'true heart' toward the Republic of Korea was false. In particular, his sincerity towards the establishment of peace on the Korean Peninsula is very impressive and continues. I hope that the North Korean authorities will properly and properly respond to his sincerity.
So, I hope that a world will come in which the barbed wire fences of the Military Demarcation Line that really separated North and South Korea enter the museum in imitations, and young people from the south of the Korean Peninsula can ride a train together with young people from North Korea through the continents of China and Russia to Europe.
