국내 유니콘 기업의 창업자 절반이 ‘SKY(서울·고려·연세대)’와 카이스트 출신인 것으로 조사됐다. 한양대, 포항공대 등 주요 대학 출신이 조사대상의 73.2%로 압도적인 비율을 차지했다.

대학별로는 서울대 출신이 18명(20%)으로 가장 많았고, △카이스트(10명) 11.1% △연세대(9명) 10% △고려대(6명) 6.7% △한양대(4명) 4.4% △포항공대(3명) 3.3% 등이 뒤를 이었다. 단국대와 서강대, 성균관대, 인하대, 캘리포니아대, 코넬대, 펜실베니아대, 한국외대 출신도 각 2명으로 조사됐다.
