브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 걸그룹 에이프릴 전 멤버 이현주의 왕따설이 제기된 가운데, 소속사 DSP미디어(이하 DSP) 측이 “가해자·피해자 나눌 수 없다”는 입장을 밝혔다.
1일 에이프릴(April / 윤채경, 김채원, 이나은, 양예나, 레이첼, 이진솔)·이현주의 소속사 DSP 측은 공식입장을 내고 “이현주는 연기자로 당사 연습생으로 입사했다. 하지만 에이프릴 구성 당시, 이현주는 연기자를 원했지만 설득 과정을 거쳐, 본인 및 가족과의 합의 하에 팀에 합류하게 됐다”며 말문을 열었다.
이어 “하지만 이현주는 데뷔 확정 이후 본인의 체력적, 정신적 문제로 인해 팀 활동에 성실히 참여하지 못하는 등, 어려움을 겪어 왔다. 당시는 이현주 뿐만 아니라 이로 인해 유발된 갈등들로 다른 멤버들 또한 유무형의 피해를 겪어 왔다”며 “모두가 힘든 시간을 보내며 고통을 호소해 왔고, 당시 정황이나 상황 판단으로는 어느 누구를 가해자나 피해자로 나눌 수 없는 상황임이 분명하다고 판단했다”고 전했다.
