【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군이 충청북도 장애인 체육인들의 최대 축제인 제20회 충청북도장애인도민체육대회의 막을 올리고 이틀간의 대장정에 들어갔다.
음성군과 음성군장애인체육회가 공동 주관하는 이번 대회는 '상상대로 음성, 미래의 중심 충북'이라는 슬로건 아래 10월 1일부터 2일까지 개최된다. 도내 11개 시군에서 모인 2,300여 명의 선수단이 육상, 배구, 볼링, 보치아 등 총 17개 종목에 참가해 그동안 다져온 기량을 펼친다.
개최지인 음성군은 선수와 임원진, 보호자 등을 포함해 총 210명 규모의 선수단을 출전시켰으며, 경기는 지역 내 17개 종목별 경기장에서 분산 진행된다.
국악밴드 그라나다의 사전공연으로 시작된 개회식은 선수단 입장을 비롯해 대표 선서, 성화 점화 순으로 이어졌다. 특히 도내 체육대회 최초로 시도된 디지털 성화 점화식은 실내 행사라는 장소적 한계를 창의적인 디지털 연출로 극복하며 참석자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다. 성화 점화는 이번 대회 홍보대사인 역도 종목 황유선 선수가 맡았다.
